In 2017, Marcus and Valentina Rivera pulled a secondhand Airstream trailer to the corner of Mississippi and Fremont with $800, a charcoal grill and a hundred-year-old family recipe for slow-braised beef. By noon, the line stretched half a block. By sundown, they were sold out and smiling.
Street Caravan isn't just a food truck — it's a philosophy. Food should be unapologetically bold, made with honest ingredients and served to people standing on a pavement, napkin in hand, grinning. No tablecloths. No reservations. Just fire, smoke and flavour.
Seven years on, we've expanded to three trucks, catered over 400 events and built a loyal community of food-lovers across Portland who track our location like a treasure hunt. But we're still rolling that same Airstream every Wednesday on Mississippi. Some things shouldn't change.
